Bryn Mawr College Cookbook Published

Bryn Mawr College students together recipes, essays and images about a cookbook that generate the university will benefit.

Bryn Mawr College Cookbook is a collection of recipes, essays and images of Bryn Mawr College alumnae, edited by Brett Jocelyn Epstein ’01.

This book contains over 90 recipes for appetizers, salads, soups, side dishes, condiments, principal dishes, desserts and beverages from Korean dumplings, blintzes, chicken and sweet potato soup, fudge cake, and cassoulet Bolognese sauce, cranberries, curry, Bourbon balls, and Mayan hot chocolate. There are also 13 essays on topics related to food, such as eating at Bryn Mawr, with food in the classroom, the joys and bonds of teatime, and discover the excellent berry. Much more than 60 illustrations and photographs are also included, most of them from college. The alumni in this cookbook come from the class of ’28 (with a recipe of actress Katharine Hepburn) on the class of ’06, in between, with stops in nearly each decade.
